Galileo Astronomy Club

Astronomy is one of the oldest sciences. It can be defined as the science of celestial objects (such as stars, planets, comets and galaxies) and phenomena that originate outside of the Earth's atmosphere. The astronomy club is aimed at introducing the basic concepts of astronomy to students in a fun way. Students will be presented with spectacular visuals and participate in a variety of activities. The club is currently opened to any fifth and sixth grade student here at Galileo Academy. Club meetings will vary from once to twice a month. The club is led by Todd Gonzales, with support from various staff members.
